“Rua das Pedras” de H. Stern

Aretes Cobblestones

Rua das Pedras Street in Buzios, Brazil, has inspired designers of H. Stern to create a colorful collection made in colorful precious stones and diamond details. Rings, earrings, and bracelets were designed in two versions: colorless crystal or colored stones mixed in gradient colors (amethyst, rose quartz, smoky quartz and pink tourmaline). The stones are irregularly shaped, such as the street’s paving.

“Gentlecat” by Sara Miau

Mexican designers are becoming more popular each day, and a perfect example is Sara Miau. Her first jewelry collection is the cat’s meow. Literally.

Getting crafty making accessories

As some of you know, I love to bead! And by beading I mean making accessories with semi-precious stones, crystals, charms, etc. LOL And as you may have noticed, I’ve been away from my blog for quite a few days, and it’s because I needed to send a box back home with some of my personal creations, which are sold at my grandma’s boutique. So I had to put all of my other personal projects aside and start producing bracelets, earrings and necklaces like there’s no tomorrow!

Anyways, I took a pictures of a few of them before they shipped away! I’m considering starting an online business with one-of-a-kind pieces at affordable prices, so if anyone likes anything showed here, comment and I can always ship to your location! 😉

These are good-luck bracelets made of opaline glass and glass pearls. They are orange and mint green, but look neon on the photo for some reason, lol. These are my favorite, btw!

These are freshwater pearls and rainbow fluorite, with small glass pearls.

They might look like necklaces, but wrap them around your wrist four times and you have a stack-like set of bracelets, with good luck charms and vivid colors.

Stainless steel, fire-polish glass and lots of pink and hearts.

Braided leather-like bracelets with good luck charms or glass pearls.

Beads, beads and more beads!

I’m finally going bead shopping!!! Yay! So I went to Polyvore to find some inspiration for my new projects. My friend is driving me to Michael’s first (there isn’t one single Michael’s inside San Francisco, you have to drive to the suburbs) and probably tomorrow I’ll be heading to Union Square check out some bead stores I found on Google. Will post about it whenever my creativity sparks and creates something cute.

For my friends back home in Hermosillo, I have a carrousel full of earrings and bracelets at my grandma’s store and I will send a package soon with new stuff. For my readers in San Francisco, can anyone recommend a store that sells accessories under consignment? Thanks 😀

Just sharing! 🙂
